We never met

We never met. You and I have never met anyone our entire life. You might have only met the good Nikit, or the bad Nikit, the wise Nikit, or the foolish Nikit, the silent Nikit, or the talkative Nikit, and so and so. Do you see, how many Nikits are there? I am one human being, one living being, yet see how many Nikits are there. So, have any of you ever met the whole, the actual, the one, the me Nikit? This is not just about Nikit; this is the story of everyone. I haven’t met you either. So why is this? This is because between the actual you and the actual me, is seated a thing called mind, which is a translator, mediator, and interpreter. Mind functions from its database called memory which is stored information or in simple accumulated knowledge. So, you will see me as bad, good, this and that according to the mind’s translation about those memories I share with you. What met was both of our ideas about each other’s. I met with my idea about you and you met with your idea about me. Although physically you and I met, psychologically we have been only meeting ourselves our entire life. You and I only meet the idea of ours about others. What you and I see are not the actual things, but the idea of actual things developed by this mediator called mind. Only when there is no barrier between the actual you and I, only when we don’t meet through any mediators, can we really meet.
